Matt Bye received his official entry to the NCAA National Indoor Meet in Boston on Mar. 8-9.

Matt Bye finished 11th in the heptathlon at the NCAA National Indoor Meet which is four spots up from his finish in the decathlon at last year's national outdoor meet.

Matt Bye claimed the title in the MIAC heptathlon to earn the crown for the Cobbers in three of the past four years and eight times since 1996.

Concordia moved up to sixth place in the final team standings thanks to four fast freshmen and the vaulting ability of senior Sam Haley.

Concordia had three Top 5 finishes and five athletes scored team points on Day 1 at the MIAC Indoor Championship Meet.

For the second straight day at the MIAC Indoor Meet sophomore Josie Herrmann stole the spotlight and led the Cobbers.

Matt Bye and Cal Wright both posted top marks in the MIAC this season at the Bison Open and led the Cobbers to a fourth-place finish.

For the second straight weekend Concordia had an athlete break a school record as they get geared up for the MIAC Indoor Meet in two weeks.

Concordia capped its 2018 fall season by earning U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic status.

Cayle Hovland and Josie Herrmann both put up Top 3 MIAC marks to lead the Cobbers at the Bison Open at NDSU.
